节日前加the吗

节日有两个词：festival；Day。day结尾的不加the,festival结尾的加the。比如，National Day,the Spring Festival。

节日前加the吗

不是所有的节日前都不加the，中国传统节日前要加the，一般以Day结尾的节日和一些西方传统节日前，都不加冠词。例如：the Mid-Autumn Festival（春节）/ThanksgivingDay（感恩节）。

Day前不用冠词，如： Children's Day, Teachers' Day。

festival 前要用冠词，如： the Spring Festival, the Mid-autumn Festival。

the的用法

1、用以特指某些人或某些事物。

This is the house where Lu xun once lived.

这是鲁迅曾经住过的房子。

2、用于特指上文未提及，但谈话双方明确所指的人或事物。

Close the windows before you lea ve the lab.

离开实验室前请关上窗子。

3、用以表示上文提过的人或事物。

I went to a nearby restaurant. The food there was good,but the service of therestaurant was terrible.

我去了附近一家饭店，那里的饭菜很好，但服务很糟糕。

4、用在序数词和形容词最高级前。

He is always the first to come a nd the last to leave.

他总是第一个来最后一个离开。

5、表示世界上宇宙中独一无二的事物。the sky天空。
